Under new ownership since July 2023, our pub has been a cherished part of Blofield's community since 1836, and this change in ownership is dedicated to preserving its legacy for many years to come.This past summer, we undertook extensive renovations including a new kitchen, state-of-the-art equipment, a reimagined bar layout, and an exciting outdoor adventure play area for children. Our exterior has also undergone a beautiful transformation with the addition of flower beds, shrubs, trees, and bushes. Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

Welcome to the Kings Head in Coltishall! We are a traditional village pub located in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. We pride ourselves on our warm atmosphere and classic British pub food. At the Kings Head, you'll find a great selection of cask ales, lagers, wines and spirits at the bar. Our menu features pub classics like fish and chips as, as well as daily specials made with fresh, local ingredients.     A party of seven celebrating a birthday on Sunday lunchtime. A welcoming face greeted us as we are returning guests. Everyone chose from the roast menu,3 lamb shanks and four pork meals. All the food was fantastic and our friends cannot wait to return when they next visit. Even a power cut could not detract from a great lunch. Book a table you will not be disappointed

    Fabulous as always ❤️ Staff amazing Food exceptional My favourite place in Norwich And the new lions den ... is such a beautiful new addition.. Cosy , warming outdoor little den with firepits , blankets , mulled wine , toasting marshmallows,outdoor saunas , pure genius ambience... nothing beats this place in Noriwch It's a must go to !!
