Had a lovely lunch at the Centurion. Great food, tentative staff and lovely views with the sun shining.

As always, the meal was excellent. It was an 'old' school friends reunion, the extensive menu catered for all of our tastes. The service again as always leaves other eateries in the shade, friendly, unobtrusive, but on hand if we needed anything. Thank you to Gareth, Kate, and the team we all enjoyed our lunch. My No.1 restaurant to go to in St Albans! The variety & quality of food is great and the staff are very attentive. The restaurant itself is very spacious and cosy. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a good meal in St Albans!

The warmest welcome in St Albans! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the food is never less than excellent and the price is amazing. I love the linen napkins and weighty cutlery, the sumptuous Tudor touches in the dining room and the wide selection of soft drinks on offer. 3 of us ate today, for less than £100. Value, luxurious touches and homey attentions to detail, what’s not to love? We’ll be back soon.
