IT STARTED WITH THE SIMPLE DESIRE TO FIND A GOOD, FRESH TORTILLA HERE IN NYC. IN THE TIME WE HAVE SPENT TRAVELING BETWEEN NYC AND MEXICO WE HAVE SEEN MANY STARK DIFFERENCES BETWEEN NY MEXICAN FOOD AND MEXICAN FOOD FROM MEXICO. THE DETAIL THAT ALWAYS STOOD OUT THE MOST FOR US WAS THE TORTILLA. MOST OF THE TORTILLAS YOU CAN FIND HERE, BOTH IN RESTAURANTS AND GROCERY STORES, ARE MADE FROM CORN FLOUR. THIS IS A NOT TOO TASTY, NOR NUTRITIONS DERIVATIVE OF CORN MASA. THINK OF WONDERBREAD VS ANY LOAF OF BREAD YOU MIGHT FIND AT A BAKERY.

Let your hair down at the Dining Room. This Brooklyn haunt offers seasonal specials and long-running happy-hour deals in a comfortable, relaxed space. The Dining Room also boasts an appealing rotating beer menu, complemented by a savory array of pub grub. It includes salads, sandwiches, juicy burgers, sliders and hearty entrees like the spaghetti marinara or the chicken pot pie (prepared with homemade gravy).     The Parlour is the best of the best when it comes to afternoon tea. The service, the ambience the menu are all top notch. I have celiac disease and have to follow a strict gluten free diet. They have a wonderful selection Of gluten free sandwiches and Pastries. I have been to many afternoon teas all over NYC and this place is by far the best

    I love Trapizzino. However our server experience was poor. They didn’t check on us and we had to remind them several times about our entrees. One of the very good servers offered us a round of shots as a gesture, which we appreciated. Otherwise wonderful spot and I plan to return.

    Great dinner spot. Friends were impressed! Steak frites was so good! Same with the seasonal cocktail Queen of Clubs.
