The interior of the Hanse Stube is characterized by timeless elegance with cozy sofa corners, filigree wooden chairs and various contemporary and historical paintings on the wood-paneled walls. Das Dom im Stapelhaus in Köln ist ein traditionelles, charmantes Brauhaus. Schon zum kulinarischen Auftakt hast du die Wahl zwischen z.B. einer Kartoffellauchsuppe mit geräucherten Lachsstreifen, einem Krüstchengulasch und verschiedenen Salatplatten. Es gibt Kölsche Klassiker wie Himmel und Ääd, Schweinshaxe mit Kartoffelpüree und Sauerkraut oder Roastbeef mit Bratkartoffeln und Remouladensauce. Du bekommst deftige Delikatessen à la Leberkäse mit süßem Senf, Spiegelei, Bratkartoffeln und Krautsalat, Schnitzelvariationen vom Kalb und vom Schwein, Rumpsteak, Matjes- und Seelachsfilet. Vegetarier freuen sich über eine Gemüseplatte, Nudeln mit Rucola und getrockneten Tomaten sowie Käsespätzle. Auch für Kinder gibt es einige Extragerichte.     Absolutely superb service and delicious food. The service is impeccable. Before you begin a lovely selection of flavoured fresh butters and delicious bread is brought to you. Then another selection of amuse bouche. All delightful. Our filet mignon was great. Nice mash. At the end of our dinner a tray of gorgeous chocolates was brought for us to choose a few of. Unobtrusive but perfect service. The rooms are beautiful with large paintings and very comfortable seating. It’s quiet. ( hurrah!) Would highly recommend!

    Nochmals hätzlische Dank an unseren Spitzenmann Zwen :0) der uns janz hervorragend und zur vollsten Zufriedenheit bedient hat und an das gesamte Team. Es war ein rundum gelungener fünfzigster Geburtstag, in toller Lage direkt mit Blick auf den Rhein. Super schöne Location, authentisch, leckere Speisen, gut gelaunte Mitarbeiter, tolle Atmosphäre.     Usually the bar is set at medium for hotel restaurants, but after our first night staying and eating at the Hilton Köln, we cancelled our other dinner reservation and just opted to eat at the hotel instead. Our server (same as the night before) was great, very accommodating to our daughter who is a bit picky with her food. Making this review a month or so after our visit, but will definitely be back next time we are in Köln, it was a lovely place to enjoy Christmas dinner.
