The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-36 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. We leave tables unreserved in our beer garden and parts of inside for groups of less than 5 people and walk-ins. If you're wanting to make a reservation for 36+ people, please visit our webpage.

Before you book, please note the following:Picnics are $30 per head and children's meals can be ordered on the day. Payment is required upon checking in for your picnic experience.Your picnic will include a selection of pizzas, salad and chips, with drinks to be purchased at an additional cost during your picnic.     I cannot recommend Shelanous Restaurant enough! I pre-booked two months in advance for my husband's birthday, and it was worth every bit of the wait. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. The food was absolutely divine—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My husband was thrilled with the experience, and it truly made his birthday unforgettable. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an incredible meal, Shelanous is the place to go. Thank you to the entire team for making our night so memorable! We’ll definitely be back!

    Booked for 6 adults and 4 kids. Table was ready on time. Staff were excellent. Food came out quickly and was tasty. Place looks amazing. Has a play area for kids which made the day relaxing. Would highly recommend.

    Wonderful variety of food. Dessert was the clear highlight with honeycomb to finish off. View was tremendous and service staff were great with helpful tastings of the wine to decide what to have and piazza style seating was fantastic
