We’re thrilled to re-open the Captain Farris House Tea Room for the Fall/Winter 2023/2024 season and invite you, your friends, family, or someone special to join us. It’s the perfect place to unwind. Join us for a truly enchanting experience! The Tea Room is open Thursdays to Sundays from November 10th through May 12th, 2024. Seating is available at 11am - 1pm and from 2pm - 4pm. We live off Cape so only get to visit every now and then. Been coming here for years but this was our first time since renovations! Beautiful! Food was great and can’t wait to come back and sit at the bar!

Afternoon tea was an awesome experience. I have been to many afternoon teas and the food here was better than most. There was a vegetarian in the group and our host created tea sandwiches for her. Everything was delicious and nothing was left on the three tier dish. Great choice of teas and the hostess added more hot water to the pot which is often ignored. Will definitely return!

The food wasn't t nearly as good as I expected. Side salad with dinner was tiny and dressing had no flavor. Halibut was overcooked, very dry and along with potato very underseasoned.Overall, disappointing.

Food was great - atmosphere was great - only "flaw" in the evening was getting the location of the entrees to wrong diner - given everything else being great - that was an unexpected hiccup.
