The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister that are Ellicott City locals. The menu includes seasonal scratch made items, sustainable meats & produce from local farms and purveyors. The White Oak Burger is a community favorite and has been recognized as the best burger in Howard County for several years. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a special dog menu. The bar has 42 rotating craft beers with a wide selection of styles with a free-to-join mug club. This includes a specialty cocktail menu with different seasonal ingredients along with a fresh mocktail menu. The Tavern offers brunch seven days a week with bottomless brunch cocktails and Sunday jazz brunch from 11am-2pm. On Friday & Saturday local musicians perform from 8-11pm. Smashing grapes was a smashing success! The ambience was lovely, the food was better than expected, and the service was superb. We’re not much of a wine drinker, but the offerings were top-notch and chosen with care. All in all a must try!

Adam was great! We loved the dry rub wings! My burger was cooked perfect! The butternut squash and apples were tasty. My husband had the Turkey Rachel with fries. But we’re really good.

Great to see this place so busy! My wife and I were pleased with all aspects of our dining experience. Happy hour menu was solid (that smoked old fashioned is fantastic!). Entrees were delicious. Service was slightly slower than expected, but that was probably due to how full the restaurant was. Server was helpful and responsive.

Everything was terrific! Joya was AMAZINGGGG! So sweet, so attentive, very accommodating. The table right in view of the water was great. Everyone was super nice and I loved everything I ate. Half off the bottle of wine was STELLAR!! I will definately be back. Great first visit. Thank you !!
