At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner. Food is always constantly good. The portion size is just right and presentation is great. Love the servers who never changes. I love that, that means they are happy to work there and treat it right by the restaurant owners. I love going there.

Best Indian food we have ever eaten, hands down. My hubby is a food snob, hyper critical, never satusfied. Well, we went for dinner ( reservations made , thankfully) and had to go back for lunch! The tandori foods were fabulous, lamb , salmon, chicken, and shrimp. Loved the mango chutney, cashew naan (wow) , portabello mushroom appetizer (amazing), brown rice ( spiced with clove and cinnamon) , cardamom ice cream ( so unique) and the wonderfully patient and kind staff ( Nepalese servers and Indian chefs). Everything was off the charts! We were the last to leave both times so of course we had to leave a 100% tip! We will become regulars whenever in town! Job well done, Ajanta!
