You can't improve on this historic site but now it brims with new confidence and new cuisine. The moment you enter the front door you are greeted with warmth. Fantastic food, my husband had the elk steak and he loved it. The rest of us had buttermilk shrimp, braised beef cheek & fish and chips, all absolutely wonderful. Staff is welcoming and friendly as always. Highly recommend stopping for dinner, you will not be disappointed!

We had another wonderful experience at Black Bass Hotel! It’s one of our favorite restaurants to visit when we come to New Hope! Our server, Karen was awesome! It’s obvious that she loves her job! She gave us some great recommendations and all were delicious! We had the scallops appetizer. The scallops were large and fresh! My husband had the salmon and I had the cod. Both very tasty and cooked to perfection! Karen asked me if I had any allergy to cheese since it was in the sauce. They made my cod to order with just a little butter and it was perfect! We ended our meal with the incredibly flavorful French pressed coffee and the s’mores dessert. Karen went above and beyond to make our experience special. We will be back, and we hope to get Karen as our server again!
