Originally opened in 2005, Garrett Harker’s flagship restaurant has reopened its doors just up Beacon St. only three blocks from its original location. Eastern Standard continues to offer seasonally focused New England interpretations of classic brasserie fare, including raw bar and charcuterie, nostalgic favorites like steak tartare, baked rigatoni, steak frites, and butterscotch bread pudding, and some new soon-to-be-instant-classic dishes.     Our bartender Adrian was AMAZING. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Fried chicken was the best we had in Boston.

    The staff were so friendly! We were able to be seated 30 minutes before our reservation which got us out of the rain. They went above and beyond to include a birthday surprise for my spouse at the end of our meal. Oh, and the food was delicious! The grilled chicken fell right off the bone and the meat samboosa and hummus were great, too. Overall, great care was taken of us.

    The food was outstanding, the staff knowledgeable and Personable. The inside was decorated in such a beautiful festive way you couldn’t help but smile when you walked in the door the guacamole was the best ever and the street con delicious as well as an unbelievable Caesar salad with homemade dressing if I could eat there every day.!
