El Boca Chica Restaurant sirve una auténtica y sabrosa gastronomía mexicana desde 1964. Fue en ese año que Guillermo y Gloria Frias abrieron las puertas de su nuevo restaurante que tenía capacidad solamente para 28 personas. Hoy en día, Boca Chica ha crecido considerablemente y fue calificado como "uno de los mejores restaurantes mexicanos en las Ciudades Gemelas", según la edición de marzo de 2009 de la Minneapolis-St.Paul Magazine. La comida sigue siendo tan auténtica como al principio, pues todos los platillos son preparados totalmente en casa, utilizando recetas tradicionales e ingredientes frescos. Incluso la salsa picante es hecha en casa con tomates, chiles frescos y el toque especial de la familia Frias.
