Our server was great as well as the food. Location was odd in a hall way. Value for the meal was ok.

LOCAL 8th Ave is hands down the best pub in the city! Incredible service that is always fast, friendly and fun.

Went for a birthday brunch, food was ok. Atmosphere and service were great. Noise from the bowling alley was not too bad. I thought the birthday would be acknowledged since we made sure to put it in the reservation, but not even a “happy birthday“

The drinks are really good and the service is fast.

I arrived on time for my reservation but waited about 30 minutes for my companions. My friendly server was great during the wait, I didn’t feel any pressure. The menu is succinct and manageable, a little bit of everything but fits on one page. I had the maple chipotle brussel sprouts and they were amazing! We had an old fashioned and two of their signature cocktails (both the bourbon sours). Very well done and nicely presented. Ashley was our server and her demeanor, attentiveness, and easy conversation was a treat. Our water glasses were always full and we were never in need of a thing. After we paid our bill, another server (Anna) even came and checked on us in case we wanted to sit longer. So nice! If this is the standard for service, food, and experience at this new neighborhood pub, they will be very successful. I certainly hope they are!
