Fue una noche normal , a pesar que que decía que sería experiencia ya que era noche de navidad, solo había una señorita atendiendo las mesas fue muy tardado , esperamos como 15 min a que llegara algo de tomar y la comida esperamos como una hora para que nos llevarán la comida, y cuando llego estaba fria .

This experience was kind of disappointing. The restaraunt was understaffed and the service was rushed and unwelcoming. Our appetizers were very good (I had the Brussel sprouts and my dining companion had the squid which were both quite nice. Mains were another story. I had the ‘risotto’ which was not actually risotto but something else entirely. The squash was burnt and inedible to the point where I had to send it back. My dining partner got the steak option which he said was tasty but very small and the sides was basically 3 small carrots and crème fresh or something. I replaced my risotto with the charcuterie board which we shared and it was quite nice as was the banana dessert I had. Overall, it was a mixed bag. The biggest complaint was the poor, rushed, unfriendly service. It was so bad we almost left after ordering our drinks but before our food. Given the very ho hum food quality, maybe we should have. 😞

Really nice to have a good restaurant to go to in a hotel lobby. They take old fashions very seriously and it’s cool to see the different concoctions

Valet parking was $35 for 2 hrs. Paliser Hotel down the road includes valet parking when visiting their restaurant

One 18 is back up to snuff with its latest menu, we had brunch before a noon theatre show and we did not drink, but we all had some variation of the avocado toast and it was more than satisfying. We all really enjoyed it…

It was a nice experience but no Wow! The chicken wings were great but the beet salad & fondue were ok. For a whiskey bar, the cocktails were basic. Thank you to the lovely staff for great service!!!!

We were a party of 6, our waitress was wonderful very polite and helpful. All the staff were friendly and polite. Food was delicious .

Bad experience for the first day of Christmas lunch, December 25, 2024. I ordered blackened salmon fillets with fries. I received an extremely small, thick, uncooked piece of salmon. It did not look like the blackened salmon they showed on their online menu. I asked to replace the uncooked piece of fish with blackened salmon fillets. I asked for prosseco; they brought me a very small glass with proseco. I don't think I got 6 oz of proseco; they charged me $16 for it. The dessert, Coffee Dacquoise, was different from the desserts I had had before; the desert wasn't overly sweet, which was nice. Very slow service, even though there were less than 10 people seated at the tables. I waited 8 minutes to be seated at a table; after being seated, I waited 15 minutes to be given a glass of water. After 15 minutes I went to the bar and asked for water. After 5 minutes I received a glass and a small bottle of tap water. The main course also came late. I do not recommend this restaurant. It's expensive, the food isn't very good and the service is poor, poor.

The food was all interesting and very good. Drinks were well prepared, especially the smoked Old Fashioneds. Service friendly and attentive.
