As well as intimate and cosy meals for couples or small groups, we are also a noted venue for group bookings, including cocktail classes, birthdays, hen parties, and weddings - all of which may be combined with a two/three-course meal, buffet, or something more bespoke. Once a month we host the Oliver's bottomless brunch, with option to upgrade to bottomless cocktails. These are always popular and we recommend booking well in advance.

For any bookings over 20 people we are happy to open our restaurant on a Monday - Wednesday - Please contact us direct for more information.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the bar and dance floor area turns into a club setting from 9pm - please consider this when booking late tables in the restaurant.

Partner and I booked our valentines date night here. The customer service from the start was exceptional, we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. We didn't wait long for our orders even though they were busy. The food was great though my salmon was a little undercooked but everything else was great. Good value for money and looking forward to another date night there.

We had a fantastic dinner and lovely cocktails, our waitress Claire was fantastic she was so lovely and friendly she made our night so special :))

Was our 2nd time having the Sunday roast share board and it was just as amazing as the first time. It’s definitely the best roast on the Rochester high st! Plenty of food with all the trimmings and the staff are super friendly. Perfect way to spend a Sunday with the family.

Went to Oliver’s for our staff Christmas party. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. Reasonably priced, will definitely be going back again!

The food was expensive and mediocre, I wouldn’t recommend this place, the wine ordered never arrived the puddings were actually disgusting. Had to ask for plates for the sharing plates ordered. The waitress was friendly and nice.

We haven't eaten at Olivers for a few months during wh8ch time it has been refurbished. The menu on the web side needs updating. There is no longer a 2 or 3 course selection for a fixed price, at least on a Sunday. Starters of which there are only 3 choices are ordered separately. (A coice of 3 starters is insufficient). The mains can be ordered separately (£2 extra) or a sharing board at £20 per head. Not too impressed with the wine selection. The Chardonnay is overpriced. Altogether a little disappointing and we may not have a Sunday roast here again.

We had a great experience here when we came for lunch to celebrate my friends 80th birthday. My friend had been hoping for steak as we had been here before and had steak which was amazing but it was a set sunday menu. We mentioned to our server that we had hoped for steak and he spoke to the chef and arranged this even though it was not part of the lunch menu. We ended up with a beautiful,perfectly cooked steak, a lovely fresh salad and some delicious chips. What great service. Our server was such a nice person and very accommodating.

We absolutely loved our Sunday lunch at Oliver’s and it far exceeded our expectations. The shared roast (one between two with individual choice of meat) was outstanding. Very generous portion sizes with excellent quality food, great accompaniments (roast potatoes, mixed carrots and beans, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puds) and excellent service. Also loved the new decor. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back!
