                                                                        We went to Notch8 for my parents anniversary which I mentioned when making the booking. I thought they had forgot until they brought out a small dessert with an edible “happy anniversary” on top. Excellent service. Food was overall amazing. I got the scallops for main - served with a sauce, beans, cabbage and yellow bell peppers. I thought it was an odd combination myself but possibly just not my taste. Really lovely evening. Would come back again.

                                                                        My wife ordered the Sable Fish and it was Terrible, fish was undercooked, when she cut into the fish cold water came out onto the plate. It was un edible and our server didn’t take notice. Wife then ordered a Rasberry tart for desert but received a lemon tart instead.

                                                                        Notch 8 is a great restaurant to have dinner. We luckily were seated in a booth at the back of the restaurant which was quieter than the front. The menu had a good variety of smaller plates and entrees. The service was very good and efficient and we especially enjoyed the beautiful festive decorations.

It was $100/pp and only three courses with 2 options for starter, 3 options for main, and 1 option for dessert. The service and ambience were excellent and food decent but what a disappointment in the choices and food for the price.
