As a result it was a bit noisy from time to time, nevertheless we preferred it to the restaurant option. We enjoyed a very successful reunion with our university’s friends from the 1960’s and the food was good and the bill reasonable. Food was well presented and generally ideal but the lamb took quite a bit of chewing. The hake was delicious! We had a main course and dessert only. No wine. £100 was quite pricey.
