Our first time visiting today and it definitely won’t be our last. The food was exceptional and the staff were so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. The meat was so tender and tasty, the salad bar had plenty of choice and the deserts were amazing. Definitely 10/10 from us!

Originally there were four of us but a few hours prior to our booking i increased it to 6 and without any problems. This was our first visit to 19Twenty which I booked based on the reviews and it didn’t disappoint! The service was friendly and considerate and as a foodie I have to say the food was unbelievable, all 6 of us throughly enjoyed our choices and the experience! We will definitely go back and would 100% recommend, thank you!

I love going to Headlam Hall. It's a unique, relaxing, old fashioned venue. The Christmas lunch was enjoyable, the food served was to a high standard. More brioche with the parfaiit would have been nice or less parfait. The Christmas pudding was oustanding. However I do feel there were a few missing details during the experience. When being asked to go through to the restaurant it would have been nice to have our drinks carried for us. There wasn't any Christmas crackers to pull on the table and we both thought there was mince pies with the tea and coffee mentioned on the original menu we saw not just a standard chocolate mint. While all team members were polite and happy to help I dont feel anyone went the extra mile to make us feel special. Did anyone wish us a Merry Christmas? Headlam Hall in my mind is the best hotel in the local area but needs to up its game slightly and not sit on its laurels. An enjoyable lunch not spoiled by my expected high standards of the venue.
