El Ships Inn Restaurant ofrece una de las mejores experiencias gastronómicas de Nantucket. El restaurante se ubica en un histórico edificio que data de 1831 y solía ser la gran mansión de un capitán ballenero, y cuenta con un salón comedor y lounge subterráneos con un ambiente colonial pero moderno. Gaslight is an open concept bar, restaurant, and live music venue serving some of the best food Nantucket has to offer. The cuisine, from Chef Liam Mackey (The Nautilus), has a Japanese Izakaya vibe where you'll find a variety of haute street food style pan-Asian cuisine include noodles, rice dishes, bao buns, raw fish, skewers, dumplings, and more. The bar program, curated by Clinton Terry (The Nautilus) features a variety of fresh ingredient forward cocktails with culinary inspired themes, and rotating craft beers on tap. The wine list leans towards fun, funky, natural w/ a twist of the classic plus the island's only Champagne Vending machine (thank you Moët). The atmosphere is lively, the staff is friendly, the location in the heart of downtown Nantucket can't be beat, and the live music starts every night in the summer around 1030pm, featuring both local and off-island acts with high name recognition. Seasonally, we have a beautiful outdoor bar, serving up drinks and food for before or after a trip to the beach, as well as a full outdoor patio and indoor dining room! We also serve 30 different homemade flavors of ice cream at our ice cream counter from May through Columbus Day.

Our newly renovated dining room brings Japan to Nantucket, with an Asian themed lounge, reminiscent of an Izakaya, offering a polished yet casual atmosphere. Check out our new 7-seat bar, where we craft both new and classic cocktails, including the Misogi Tiki Tiki and the Spicy Margarita.     Or the Whale has a wonderful atmosphere for visitors and year-round Islanders alike! It has the largest bar on island as well as a wonderful outdoor patio area for alfresco dining! It’s a must stop on your visit to Nantucket! The staff are amazing and we consider it our island Cheers! Kudos to the team!!

    Having been to Black Eyed Susans many times for breakfast - I was surprised to see they offered dinner. I truly thought it was a breakfast joint. After looking at a the menu for Stroll - I decided I wanted to go. What a hidden gem. Best kept secret on the island for sure!! Food was FANTASTIC. Service was Fantastic. The Atmosphere was Fantastic! Overall experience was amazing. Like I said - best kept secret on the Island. Look forward to going back in the summer!!

    It was our first time at the Gaslight. Asian infused dishes were anywhere from solid to excellent. I particularly enjoyed the lemongrass shrimp / pasta dish. The tequila / ginger drink was also excellent. With that said, it is essentially bar food in a bar environment. So, important to be clear on your expectations.
