    Second year in a row we chose to celebrate NYE at Nanasteak. It was excellent; the prefix menu was great and was a great value as well. Our party loves the atmosphere and food was delicious as always. I was here a few weeks ago for my birthday and it was great then too. Nanasteak never disappoints

    We went for NYE dinner. Preset menu had a very good selection. Service was also very good. Will be back

    We normally have had great experience eating here. Our nye special was three course meal. The service started out good and got our appetizer right away. The drinks were good. I got a crush rib which wasn’t crispy and had a lot of gristle on it. My partner liked her Caesar salad. The server waited for me to finish my drinks separately and I said didn’t want another. The server waited until my partner finished hers which was like 30 minutes and then asked if she wanted another which she didn’t then brought out the entrees. It seemed deliberate to outwait us for us to finish drinks then asked if we wanted more rather than just bring out dinner when ready. The steak was good but my partner green beans was drowned in the steak. Both desserts were subpar and there was 20 percent tip added on which the server should have mentioned. It was just overall disappointing experience

    We have been to Nana’s a few times and it’s always excellent but tonight was way above and beyond all expectations. We had the Wagyu steak with several sides and the flavors were spot on. Our server was excellent and very attentive and knowledgeable. We always appreciate being able to sit at Nana’s and actually get to have a good conversation because the dining room is never too loud. Overall this was the best meal we’ve had in a very long time.

    Service was amazing. Polite, knowledgeable and attentive. Our appetizers were delicious, the ribs were our favorite. The entree however lacked a bit of flavor. Not bad, but could’ve been better imo. Wasn’t in the mood for steak that evening so we may go back to give it a try. The seats were also a bit uncomfortable. Overall good experience.

    This remains my all time favorite restaurant in Durham. The service, the food and the location are amazing. I only wish they owned the parking lot out front. Lucky for them it’s totally worth the walk!

    The food was spectacular - the filets were "melt in your mouth" tender and delicious, and the sides were equally amazing. Service was attentive without being intrusive - we never felt rushed. There were a few kitchen/service issues - missing sides, steak not initially cooked as requested - but these were quickly rectified. As always, a memorable evening.
