El chef, Michael Psilakis, introduce su premiada cocina de inspiración griega en Westchester con la apertura de la MP Taverna, una interpretación moderna de la taberna griega tradicional.     I love MP Taverna. It’s a neighborhood gem. My favorites are their chopped salad and grilled Bronzino. And many other dishes are great too Try the smashed fries. They’re like no others!! Wait staff is always attentive. Chef Michael and owner passes by to make sure you’re a satisfied customer.

    Everything was absolutely outstanding! The three of us shared the octopus starter, beet salad starter and scallop sashimi starter and they were all AMAZING- There wasn’t a single thing left on any of our plates. For dinner I had the signature branzino over roasted potatoes, olives and tomatoes- spectacular. It literally had just come out of the pan. Wonderful space, kind and prompt service. A fantastic touch to have the owner, Chef Michael Psilakis, come to our table more than once to check in. We’ve admired him for many years on Food Network and was thrilled to find this was his restaurant. They absolutely care about what they are doing here and it shows. Perfection. We’ll be back soon, we’re still talking about it even the next day!

    This spot continues to serve high quality food in a lively but comfortable atmosphere. The octopus was tender as an appetizer but I was not impressed with their version of hummus. The waiters refreshed the pita bread without us having to ask. We all ordered and each couple split the lavraki which was very fresh and perfectly cooked.
