    We've eaten here many time . Even though its on the higher end , price wise, it's been enjoyable but this time was different. Basically the amazing view of beautiful Pittsburgh is the attraction. The food is good but not exceptional. Some of our choices were over salted. Amazing view, very professional staff, valet parking, not noisy for the amount of people that were there.

    We had dinner here on 12/22 and while it was enjoyable - it was not what we'd consider "memorable" and given the bill was over $200 we both feel a meal should be memorable. The stone crab claw appetizer was a bad choice as they were difficult to open and get the meat out (even though they were pre-cracked). I actually sliced my forefinger open on one and ending up bleeding all over the place - but that's on me. That choice was my own fault as I forgot how much more difficult Stone Crab are vs Snow or King crab. My wife's Chilean Sea Bass was - according to her - just ok. And my Linguini Pescatore was the same. All in all, it was just an ok experience - we've had much better here in the past and perhaps they were just having an off night. But at this price point, I believe having an off night shouldn't be happening. For our money, we'll hit up up Altius down the street next time. They include many "extras" at no charge and the price per entree is quite similar. I think the service at Altius is much better as well. I think Monterrey needs to take a look at their menu and pricing structure and compare it to some of their competitors.

    Had a great evening before going to go see Trans Siberian Orchestra tonight. The food was incredible as always. I highly recommend.

    Monterey Bay is my go to place for special occasions. The view is spectacular, the food is ALWAYS delicious and the service is Fantastic!!!
