Founded in 2006, MoCA formed a philosophy of dining and cuisine guided by the dynamic balance between the cherished traditions of Asian cultures, with thousands of years of history, and the universally human spirit of innovation that is nourished best by these great traditions.

The name “MoCA” comes from “Modern Concept of Culinary Arts.” The MoCA team approaches cooking as an artistic endeavor, devoted to presenting modern, healthy dishes with artistic principles of color, fragrance, balance, and overall presentation.

We had a lovely time! Food was elegantly displayed, amazing flavors. Ambience and decorations were superb. Our server was very attentive and exhibited traditional Asian hospitality. Highly recommend!

Excellent lunch specials. Great place for a business lunch. Service was great. Friendly and neighborly vibe. Beautifully decorated. I will definitely go back. Great value. Great food. Definitely going back.

The food was excellent, as usual, and the service was attentive. However, I had asked for no wasabi anywhere on the plate, and it was still there – used as a silly glue to hold down a small dish. If someone says they don't want something anywhere near them, please keep it away, especially off of their dish -- of all places. Everything else was fantastic. Thanks.

Great spot with a varied menu. They need to get something to stop the cold from coming into the restaurant. Also, they ran out of martini glasses? They gave me a plastic one. Then they gave me a kiddie glass. Either way-invest in some glasses! lol. Other than that, lovely wait staff, polite and accommodating.

Second time at MoCa and it’s always a pleasure. Our server was very nice and suggested great dishes. Went with a party of 4 for a birthday and even got free shots. The food was amazing, we ordered multiple appetizers and 1 entre that was shared which was the crispy duck, definitely good, just wish it was more fulfilling. Definitely check out the bar appetizers even if you’re not at the bar, they are worth it. I personally love the atmosphere and the semiprivate booths, wonderful for a small party of 4-5 people. It’s definitely a bit expensive, some dishes and drinks are above the average price so keep that in mind, but for special occasions it might be the best Asian fusion option in forest hills.
