Las tabernas han tenido una presencia constante e importante en la vida estadounidense desde finales de 1600. Muchas de ellas estaban unidas a hostales y abrieron como lugares para los viajeros que necesitaban un lugar para hacer un alto, relajarse y descansar para tomar nueva fuerza. It was a great date night, wish we sat at another table in an empty Resturant. If we were seated there because of the server, it was worth it, she was great.

This was our first time at Mill's Tavern. I decided to try it after having a great lunch at their sister restaurant, recently. We were a little early for our reservation, and we were seated in a terrible table in the corner inches from the bar that was cramped and cold. We asked to be moved which they accommodated. The menu is an upscale and little on the pricy side with a French flair. The food overall was good and presentation is solid. Unfortunately, my duck three ways appetizer was under seasoned the mushrooms were almost tasteless which was a bit disappointing since it was a special that evening. The flatbread appetizer was solid although we were expecting parsnip boursin and duck sausage but could not locate any boursin or duck on the flatbread. Entrees were: the halibut special which was served over green lentils with rainbow swiss chard and hazelnut crumble. The cook on the fish was good but the lentils were over seasoned and very salty. We also ordered the ordered the cider glazed swordfish which was completely overcooked but the root veggies and shaved brussels sprouts sides were great. The chipotle BBQ chicken was excellent as was the accompanying succotash. We also ordered a side of crispy brussels sprouts which was excellent. Our server was great but the service was very slow for a Thursday night. The meal took two hours for a table of four. Overall the meal was good and I would try it again.

This restaurant is absolutely incredible. The service and food are impeccable. Our steak was cooked perfectly (rare). Everything was excellently seasoned. The sides are phenomenal and are definitely for sharing. The small mashed potatoes is more than enough for 2 people. The ambience is somehow cozy yet elegant, and a great location for a date, a family get together, friends having dinner- whatever!

Our server, Tony, was amazing and his drink recommendations were spot on. Food was delicious and the overall ambiance was wonderful.

We had a wonderful dinner. Our server Zach was attentive and friendly! He was very knowledgeable about the various courses! The food was amazing!!

First, Phil, our service person, was excellent. Quite knowledgeable and personable. Our appetizers & desserts were very delicious. However, only one of the main courses was very good. for the price, the piece swordfish was too small. The rack of lamb was supposed to be medium rare and it was rare. The duck wasn't that great. Only the salmon was very good.
