                                                                        We reserved this spot for a birthday, we’re not from the city. The host was ok but didn’t acknowledge the occasion and tried to seat us at a tiny two person table despite the restaurant being virtually empty. We ended up seated somewhere better as we had asked a couple times kindly, but the person didn’t really talk to us and it gave us not a great vibe. Our server was nice and pleasant. The food was so so, one dish was definitely tastier than the other. Unfortunately mine was pretty bland. The ambiance was ok but it was just not what we expected judging from other reviews. Something we found odd was that the menu was different from their website. The menu we found the day before was also totally different from when we checked the day of. I feel that should be accurate and it was disappointing as the dishes we planned to get were not on the menu in the restaurant at all. Overall, it might not be a place we return to because it was not the experience we expected.

                                                                        Menu was different from online menu. There were no oysters though posted online. Ordered mussels only to be told they had sold the last order. Really? At 6:00 pm? We were originally seated at the very back of one room near a closed but drafty door and under a ventilation fan blowing air at us. As requested, we were relocated to one of several empty booths. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Not at all like our experiences at the Miller Tavern in north Toronto.

                                                                        Good food and service in a timely manner before attending a concert. Only negative was people in the next booth taking flash pictures of each other that was directly in our eyes. Had to tell them to stop which spoiled the ambiance.

                                                                        Our server wasn't very personable. I had the salmon which was really good. My husband had the roast chicken but it wasn't good. The chicken was dry, the gravy was watery and nothing had flavour, it was all very bland.

                                                                        Food is expensive for the price and quantity you get. Food needs more flavour/seasoning. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is very nice. Noise level is not too bad.

                                                                        So disappointed today. Had many meals there. Tonight was terrible. The fish was not fully cooked. The $26 appetizer was tiny. Will have to rethink ever coming here again

                                                                        Went for my birthday dinner and had a great time! Dinner and dessert were very good, and the staff is super accommodating and friendly. Would definitely dine here again.

                                                                        We have been to the Miller Tavern on Younge and it was fabulous; have also been to the one on Bay a few years ago and then, had a wonderful evening. Our experience this evening at The Miller on Bay was less than sub par. Our server was insanely overbearing. We had barely sat down and they asked us numerous times what we going to order, when we hadn’t even looked at the menu. The food was beyond lack listed to say the least. We felt beyond rushed and pushed out, as if we were a large inconvenience at 8:30pm…we had been there for 30 mins. We will definitely return to the one on Younge but will not return to the Bay St location. So unfortunate how much the quality and service has changed in the last few years.
