Sitting by the water was best part. Staff friendly however food was really under-underwhelming. I can say we really didn't enjoy any of it. And we paid a hefty price for it to boot.

Nice prix fixe lunch today at Mill Pond. $34.95 for a 3-course lunch is a pretty good deal and the menu has some nice choices. Service was outstanding! The lobster bisque was tasty (albeit a little too much on the salty side). The steak frites was OK (strip steak was a little on the chewy side and a medium rare request was NOT honored - steak was rather tough and cooked closer to medium well done). Fries were lukewarm, too. It would be nice to have more than gelato as a dessert offering. That said, the chocolate gelato was OK (vanilla is the other flavor available). The view is very nice and the overall feel of the restaurant was relaxed. A gentleman circulated several times to our table during the meal to ask if everything was to our liking ... it was to the extent that it was an otherwise pleasant afternoon with food that was just good, but not really good. Would I return? Yes but looking at the high dinner prices and today's lunch just getting a good rating at my table for 3, I might just return to try lunch service again. I've lived locally all my life (67 years) and finally made it to dine at Mill Pond House. So on a scale of 1-10 I give the food a 7.5 and the service and location a perfect 10.

great views, great service, great food. we are going to this restaurant every chance we get. it is about 45 min drive for us, but it is worth it. they have a $35 fix price menu that is great.

This place was perfect! The ambiance was absolutely perfect, inviting, cozy, and just the right balance of elegant and relaxed. It set the tone for a great evening. Our waiter was super nice and friendly, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the meal. Their warm attitude added a special touch to the night. The food was the real star. Everything was outstanding, but the clam chowder and ribeye stood out as my favorites. The chowder was creamy, flavorful, and packed with fresh clams, while the ribeye was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. I can’t recommend this place enough. Whether for a special occasion or just a nice night out, worth every penny!

Mill Pond is one of our favorite spots- they never disappoint. Went for a holiday lunch and everything was superb. Beautiful view too!

We LOVE the Mill Pond House..its such a great throwback to the 1960’s “ Chop Houses”….terrific bar and impeccable service…food was fantastic and portions plentiful..Raphael our server was excellent, professional and attentive. Bravo Mill Pond House!…BUT…I DO MISS the box matches!!!:)

Top-notch food with top-notch staff and a great view, what else could you want in a dining experience? Food is consistently good which is one thing I always look for in a go to restaurant. Highly recommend!

Two friends and I had an almost 3-hour catch-up luncheon! The food, service, and ambiance (view) are always wonderful here! On the expensive side for lunch, but still- good value!
