    Food was good as always but unfortunately our service was not the best. Our server never came over to check on us once our food was dropped off and unfortunately my husband had to eat half of his steak with a knife.

    The waitress rushed us to leave ASAP. They began to clear the table without the the other person finishing the food which is rude in my opinion

    We live in a tourist area with a huge number of restaurants but Michael's on East can always be counted on to provide high quality delicious food and impeccable service. We had a most memorable evening with them welcoming us back by name and going out of their way to mix an unusual cocktail that is not typically ordered. It was delicious. I particularly enjoy the epicurean menu which changes monthly. Sitting in the lounge for happy hour is also a nice friendly experience,

    Our server, AJ, was exceptional! The food was, as always, delicious. You really can't "top" a Michaels dining experience.

    Service was very good. Our waiter gave us excellent choices only to come back twice saying they were out of those items. I really felt bad for him. I asked for a quiet table and was seated at an extremely loud area. I didn’t know they had an outdoor seating area and was never given a choice. The food was good, but I wouldn’t say worth the price. I am back between NYC and Sarasota so the $$$ doesn’t shock me. Midtown prices on a side street in Sarasota. I believe my wife and myself will seek out other options for a special evening.

    Holiday ambience with piano bar! Amazingly delish food too. We had the scallops and shrimp, and filet entrees with Caesar salad and oysters. The seafood was fresh and mouth watering delish. Topped it off with the xmas chocolate cake with mint Grenache. Mmmmm good !

    Overrated, slow service, food quality at this level was as expected. Table set for wrong amount of people, no drink menu offered, delay in being greeted, delay in taking orders, drinks and food took forever to get to the table with every course of the meal. There are plenty of other places we could have dined and had a nice experience.

    This restaurant is overrated! The service was bad. It took a long time for them to bring our food. They were definitely understaffed. The food was not as good as described in the reviews. Very disappointing experience.
