The Elgin’s 4 main principals, Peter Pernicone, Darwin Conner, Paul Baum & Christine Trauben, have known each other for 30 years. They all grew up on the lower west side of NYC in Chelsea & had a goal of owning a bar together & could not be more excited about opening The Elgin. As an acknowledgment of their collective history, they named a signature cocktail—the Chelsea 1724—after their neighborhood. Darwin & Paul grew up in Chelsea on 17th St and Peter & Christine lived on 24th St. They are joined by Patrick Callaghan who has been working with Peter for many years.

Excelente,anoche fue un momento muy especial ya que me comprometi con mi esposa por 2da vez, donde le entregue el anillo de compromiso. Todos fueron bien amables con mis peticiones, grabaron el momento cuando llego el postre y el anillo, la comida, la musica, los tragos y el servicio excelente. Definitivamente 5 estrellas.
