El Left Bank es una brasserie de auténtico estilo parisino, ubicada en el histórico Blue Rock Inn, en el precioso centro de Larkspur. Al The Blue Rock Inn, construido en 1895, durante la época del ferrocarril, acudían los fines de semana los residentes en San Francisco para bailar y hacer un pícnic bajo las estrellas. First, let me say that the food was exceptional. Our waiter was also exceptional. We were very happy to be there and enjoyed our dinner immensely. The one disappointment was: I looked on the website for photos of the "lovely outdoor patio" which was advertised, and all I saw were street-side tables. Not wanting to eat near traffic, I telephoned earlier in the day and a VERY French man answered. I asked him if there was really a lovely outdoor patio, because all I could find were photos of tables on the sidewalk next to the street. He ASSURED me that there was indeed a "Lovely Outdoor Patio" We got there, and all the outdoor seating was right on the street. I understand that this is consistent with Parisian restaurants, but in Europe, these outdoor tables are not in the middle of a neighborhood with heavy traffic. That is a very different atmosphere. When we arrived and understood the situation, we asked if we could switch our reservation to indoors, but alas, they were fully booked. I looked on the website again, and they appear to have removed that "Lovely Outdoor Patio" line, so I think I am just venting at this point. Go there, enjoy a fabulous meal.

Left Bank is our Go To restaurant. Located perfectly one town away from ours, great staff and bar, THE place to be before or after a Lark Theater performance and, most important, an excellent and satisfying menu. Keep on keeping on, L B!!

The appetizers, salad and entrees were consistently delicious. Service was attentive and professional. We were thrilled to discover that we could hold a conversation and be heard. The chairs were comfortable too. We will be back!

I love Left Bank. This time my duck breast was tough and I did not eat it. When they came to ask how the food was, I simply told him the truth. I was not expecting anything. However, when they brought the check, they had not charged me for the duck. I insisted that that’s not necessary, and they insisted that they had already done it. So what I would say is once again, left BANK was great.

Our waiter Pavo did a superb job of taking our orders & providing three separate bills for the 6 of us (3couples). Food was served hot & delicious.
