Le Vallauris, ubicado en el corazón de Palm Springs desde 1973, al pie de las montañas de San Jacinto, ha sido el restaurante mejor calificado en Palm Springs Valley desde su apertura. El establecimiento es dirigido por su propietario, el conocido empresario de restaurantes Paul Bruggemans, que también era propietario del famoso restaurante Le St Germain en Hollywood. El edificio histórico fue construido en 1927 y pertenecía a los propietarios del famoso Desert Inn, que era el mejor hotel del valle. En esta casa se celebraron muchas fiestas importantes para huéspedes como Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong y muchos más. También era el lugar favorito del general Patton cuando fue enviado a Palm Springs para organizar la Batalla de las Ardenas, durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Más tarde, cuando se creó el restaurante, este se convirtió en el lugar favorito de los presidentes y la élite de Hollywood. El famoso patio, rodeado de ficus gigantes, es el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de una comida. El patio tiene aire acondicionado en verano y calefacción en invierno.

Es un excelente restaurante. El setting, la comida y el servicio son verdaderamente especiales y de gran calidad. Es un restaurante para recordar y siempre volver

I had the duck and it was cooked perfectly the sauce however could have been was a bit bland and didn’t really support the duck the way it deserved. My wife had the Branzino which she enjoyed very much. I thought the fish was a bit dry. We started off with the mushroom soup and the crispy scallops and we enjoyed both very much. We finished with the trio of sorbet and that was a nice way to top off the dinner. I didn’t give them 5 stars because it wasn’t French Laundry.

We have eaten in many fine dining restaurants all over the US and indeed many other countries too. This restaurant has it all. I had the best veal medallions served with wonderful sides prepared to absolute perfection. The historic house and tree adorned patio were breathtaking. It doesn’t end there because the wait staff was so professional yet friendly and helpful they set the bar for that profession. Truly one of the the-top dining experiences ever. Very reasonable prices for that level of food,service and ambience.

A bit of a let down from our previous dining experience here years ago. First thing we noticed was the dirt on the windows and ledge as we were seated along the wall outside. I think it has possibly changed with new ownership and lost a bit of the old world charm. The quality of food was good. We had some good suggestions from server. As we typically stay out further away from PS proper, we may retire going in to this particular venue but we enjoyed our visit last night.

We were here 7 years ago and loved this restaurant. We were sad that we would never be back since we live in Chicago ( we would otherwise have made it a regular place to dine). As fate would have it, we found ourselves to be back in Palm Springs and that Le Vallauris had survived COVID. We were able to get a table and not disappointed. The quality of the food and the level of service was outstanding. David was one of the servers who deserves special mention, he was so personable and attentive. Don’t miss this gem of a restaurant.

Prior to dinner we enjoyed cool, smooth martini starters in the bar. We both selected the escargot to start and it was exceptional & took us back in time. The mains were salmon and rack of lamb, again a delight. The cream brûlée for desert was more than expected. Throughout, the service was exceptional and we left satiated and happy. We were celebrating our 56th anniversary and it couldn’t have been better. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

It's the most romantic and lovely restaurant in Palm Springs. The food and service match the surroundings. Thankfully, management has returned the chalkboard menus which returns a key factor in the overall lovely ambiance.

This is the best dining experience in all of the Coachella Valley. Very romantic setting with outstanding service and delicious selection of culinary delights.
