Le Garrick se localiza en el centro de "Theatreland" (término con el que se conoce al área turística de West End, famosa por sus tiendas, negocios, puntos de interés y teatros) de Londres, y es un restaurante íntimo francés favorito entre los conocedores del teatro, las personas de negocios y los amantes de la gastronomía francesa.Cuenta con un restaurante familiar a nivel de la calle, mientras que en el piso inferior se encuentra el salón comedor y bar para disfrutar de encuentros íntimos y momentos románticos. El menú de Le Garrick ofrece clásicos y favoritos de la cocina bistro francesa, platillos como el entrecôte (filete de alta calidad) con salsa de pimienta, y manzanas fritas y tarta de limón con crema entre otros postres clásicos. El menú de 2 tiempos y de precio fijo es ideal para comer antes de asistir a una obra de teatro. La carta de vinos es casi completamente francesa, y cuenta con vinos servidos del decantador de vinos, en botella o por copa. En un área repleta de cadenas de restaurantes, Le Garrick es punto y aparte.

Comida aceptable, recomendacion mejillones, exquisitos. Trato del personal excelente y ambiente romantico, en el centro de Covern Garden, muy bien situado.

I’ve been meaning to come to Le Garrick for a while as it’s always good to have a range of options in this area. I’m glad I have. It’s a good value French bistro. It won’t blow your socks off, but it won’t blow your budget either. My onglet steak was well cooked & a better piece of meat than is served in several other restaurants in the vicinity; the French fries were excellent. Only the peppercorn sauce was a bit of a let down. The green salad was good if unadventurous, but at least made up of a variety of fresh leaves (one’s grateful for small mercies sometimes). Pleasant if a little skimpy crème brûlée. Good wine list not overpriced for the most part. Efficient and assured service. I like the catacomby basement, which definitely has atmosphere and could be romantic if you got the right table in a nook (and didn’t have anyone else too close). Quite a young vibe and I can imagine it’s a good place for small parties (6-8) friends to gather.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and found that the downstairs area was very small and cramped with an excessive number of tables. We were so close to the couple at the table next to us, that we were subjected to listening to their conversation throughout our dinner. In the terms of the main course, we reserved a table at this restaurant specifically to enjoy a plate of cassoulet. Sadly we have enjoyed cassoulet at other French restaurants, specifically in Franshoek, South Africa, however this meal lacked the flavours we have previously experienced. Service was prompt and the pricing very reasonable.

Great little French Bistro, brimming with comfortable bustling atmosphere, friendly efficient service. Good set menu and wine by the glass. Reasonable prices for tasty French food. A regular for me when visiting g London.

Lovely little restaurant with a nice ambiance, pre theatre dinner was excellent value for money and very tasty, I would very much recommend Le Garrick, we’ll be sure to go there again.
