The food is always delicious and this time didn't disappoint! For some reason the food delivery was a little slower this trip, but we were with family so the time spent talking with each other was enjoyed. Their wine and drink menu is always fantastic as well.

We were looking for a nice steakhouse to meet family from N AL & B’ham for a celebratory dinner. Wissota had good reviews & we made reservations. We headed up early to have drinks prior to dinner. We did have a little trouble finding the restaurant - it is in the Coblestone hotel - and drove past before we saw the small sign. Once we arrived, we sat at the bar waiting for others to arrive. Emma took care of us, told us about menu items and made a fabulous martini. For dinner we moved to the dining room & Jacob took care of us. We started with charcuterie and bone marrow. The bone marrow is served with pickled onions & chimichurri on the side. So you can dress it to your taste. I love the marrow! From there, we all wanted steaks! We had the filet, ribeye & porterhouse. All were seasoned great and cooked to the requested temps. Sides are served family style (for two). We had the whipped potatoes and asparagus. Both were wonderful. The Bday boy even got carrot cake for dessert. Great hidden gem in Cullman.
