This was my first visit to Dakotah Steakhouse, along with my 3 friends. Great steaks, great burgers, great appetizers, great desserts and several South Dakota state dishes! The service was impeccable and everything was cooked to order. You have to try the chocolate cake! I have never had a better chocolate cake. Highly recommend!

We started with the crab cake. I wasn’t sure how the mango and jalapeño would be incorporated but when the dish arrived I immediately understood. The crab cake was amazing. Even the crab alone was tender and lemony. We each got the 8oz filet w a house salad for me and French onion soup for her. The salad was fresh and tasty but got a bit soggy w Italian, as most do. The French onion soup was fantastic. I’m pretty sure there was a 3ft cheese pull involved. Our steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the mashed potatoes were delectable. The service was amazing. It was a little pricey but the atmosphere, service and food were fantastic. We will be back!

We were a large group of travel staff from the hospital that were not be able to make it home for the Holiday. Gold Bison put on an amazing dinner and allowed us all space to gather and celebrate! The food was amazing- 3 carving stations, a salad table, a wide variety of side dish options, soups and breads AND a dessert table with coffee. We had a great wait staff who helped with orders from the bar. The reservation and check-in process was simple. There was even live music! All in all, we had a great time and are so grateful to everyone at Gold Bison for letting us have a great holiday with friends!
