Absolute first class service and attention to ensure you are enjoying your meal and all is well. Very helpful and happy staff. Food was perfect, hot and served in good time. Portions were good and competitively priced. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience as always. Birthday lunch for my husband and we brought the in laws with us. It was their first meal at Potted Lobster and they loved it. We all had the fish and chip special, mine was the gluten free option and it was delicious. Thank you for lovely service we have come to expect.

Excellent service, menu choice and food Thank you

We planned a weekend break in Dolgellau and Y Sospan was booked two weeks before the trip. We last ate there in September 2023 so being keen to visit again is a strong recommendation. We both wanted the lamb shank and it was outstanding in quality and quantity. It's a really interesting building, the service was excellent, the whole experience just what we hoped for. We did, in fact, return for lunch, without booking, on Saturday as we were keen to give the Cafe Menu a try. It'll be on our wish list anytime we are in North Wales and want a decent meal.

Due to graduation at the University everywhere was fully booked. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us( party of 5 with 2 having mobility issues). Food was good value for money and was prompt. Would visit again
