We pre-booked for Sunday lunch, which was wise as it was busy, but not noisy. The roast beef followed by tiramisu was excellent, as was the attentive service. We would certainly recommend it and visit again.

We had booked a post Christmas lunch for 5 friends. We received a very warm welcome. The staff were friendly and polite. The food was excellent, we had a variety of meals, steak & ale pie, fish & chips, bean burger, king prawns, salad, etc. All very tasty, well cooked and presented. We moved from our table after eating to a more relaxed area and ended up staying for 5 hours. A great pub with great atmosphere. Recommended.

Extremely helpful for customers with intolerances. I have a newly diagnosed condition which my doctor has recommended no gluten and dairy,and I'm trying to navigate life and what to eat since. I'll be honest I was super nervous about informing the staff, but they were so helpful and made me feel very comfortable and not a pain at all. I had plenty of choice for food and drink. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you.
