Duck Pond Cellars was established in 1993 and has been crafting delightful wines ever since. We have a beautiful tasting room and vineyard where guests are made to feel invited and welcome. In 2018 we changed hands and partnered with Ransom Wine and Spirits. Established in 1997, Ransom is celebrating 25 years as an alembic distillery, artisan wine company and vermouth house. Located in the charming beach town of Gearhart, OR - possibly best known for being the summer home & final resting place of James Beard, the godfather of American fine dining, The Pacific Way is located in a history filled 1929 building. Depending on the coastal weather, you may chose a cozy space indoors, warm by a fire or dine in our covered dog friendly patio. Our menu is farm-to-table, changes based on what is fresh from the farms this week & our culinary team offers chalkboard menu items regularly. You'll find our menu is seafood forward, but it is worth noting there's always something special on deck for the vegetarian and carnivore in the group. The route to The Wayfarer actually took me to Stephanie’s Inn which is about one mile away. This is why I always arrive early everywhere I go. Still made my reservations on time to enjoy great food and a beautiful sunset.

Excellent restaurant in every respect; food, service, decor, you name it. This is a genuine diamond in the rough. I will never understand how a small town restaurant can find such talented kitchen staff. Pretty amazing. You won't be disappointed.

A phenomenal dining experience with an amazing 4 course meal and wine pairings! Staff & service was spot on with enough time in between courses to savor the food and wine. The main course was enough for us to take home half of our dinner to enjoy the following evening. I would highly recommend this place for a special occasion (it was an anniversary celebration for us as it was for several other guests)!

Enjoyed a wonderful tasting - my wife had the wine flight and i did a distillery flight. Came home with the Barrel Aged Old Tom Gin and a bottle of bourbon!
