Please join us and indulge in some notable Maui Pork Belly, locally and lovingly 808 Smoked Turkey Breast BLT and of course our Rueben Fritters. We have dinner specials on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and on occasion you will benefit from some of Rich's award winning soups. Ate o Ate at Shephard Hills is managed by Rich and Peg Ellsworth. Rich is a self taught chef that always brings an interesting twist to some standard favorites. Lovely birthday lunch for a close friend! Our food was excellent and arrived promptly, but we weren’t rushed. Will definitely dine at Josie’s over the holidays!

We dined on a Thursday night in November and had a lovely meal. The food was outstanding starting with a sumptuous wedge salad and tasty shrimp cocktail. The leg of lamb was delectable and my ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. Our server was very good, although it was a little awkward when he offered to my wife for tasting, the wine that I had ordered. I wish the table had been set with a linen tablecloth - placemats are just not congruent with the otherwise elegant atmosphere. Special kudos to Brian, the manager, who immediately engaged us when the question of gluten sensitivity arose.
