Welcome to The Wee Choo-Choo – Pitlochry's most unique and exciting dining experience! Step aboard our beautifully restored Norwegian railway carriage.Our Daughter-and-Mother team owns and operates the restaurant Mia and Isara McCallum. Mia McCallum is from Phuket, Thailand, and is in charge of the dining experience. Isara is our main chef, also born in South Thailand. She brings her passion for traditional Thai cooking to the heart of Highland Perthshire. Whether you're a fan of classic Thai curries or fragrant stir-fries, our menu has something to delight every palate. We use only the freshest ingredients and locally sourced produce to ensure every dish bursts with flavour.

Welcome to Sugar Boat - a relaxed & informal neighbourhood bistro in the heart of the town on Colquhoun Square, a stones throw from the sea front. We are open daily from 7.30am (8.30am on Saturday & 9am on Sunday's) through until late. We serve everything from breakfast with a cracking fry up or eggs benedict with or avocado & poached eggs on toast. For lunch & dinner we offer a la carte menus. Lunch is the more informal with burgers, fish & chips & daily sandwiches. Dinner can be a little more special. Cakes, scones & savoury snacks are available all day. We have a Wine Shop for off sales from our extensive list of over 100 wines - everything from £9.50 per bottle upwards. Enjoy a tip top cocktail from our bar made with premium sprits & our home made purees, cordials and juices or enjoy a pint of a locally brewed beer or a can of local Scottish craft ale. Choose to sit on the square or in our rear courtyard.

    We have visited Karma Lake of Menteith for lunch on numerous occasions and are never disappointed. The food today was one of the best lunches we have enjoyed there & the staff were very welcoming. It is always lovely to sit and look out at the lake as we enjoy lunch, whatever the weather.

    Slightly disappointed as we had look at the online menu and decided that it was a good choice and had a few options that we were going to choose. Got there (15th Feb) and found only a limited Valentines menu was available and the options from the main menu that we would have chosen were not available.

    We traveled up from Edinburgh to try the establishment and were not disappointed from start to finish we were made to feel so welcome the service was amazing and the cocktails too , the food was just outstanding amazing tastes and flavours we will definitely be back and would highly recommend others to try this amazing place 10/10
