Always an enjoyable experience! Great food. Able to tweak menu items to account for allergies, likes, etc. Treated by owner and wait staff like family.

We finally tried the pork shank and it was falling off the bone good! My husband had the seafood pot pie with puff pastry. I paired the shank with a Merlot and my husband had a martini. It was a nice, quiet, delicious holiday dinner.

We’ve been to La Vela many times, and it’s always outstanding. Fettuccine Bolognese, is excellent, and the roasted duck, with a few minor adaptations for my wife’s food sensitivities, is the best she’s ever had. The service is great. This time we were there for our anniversary, and we loved it.
