Having spent years supplying London’s top restaurants through their separate wine businesses, Joe Haynes and Benedict Butterworth have joined forces with Tom Hurst, who has worked at Brawn, The Marksman, Levan, and most recently as Head Chef at Lasdun, to launch the trio’s first restaurant together.Located in a Grade II listed building on Cloth Fair, Cloth Restaurant is part of a historic row of buildings in the City of London that survived the Great Fire of 1666. Down this atmospheric alley opposite St Bartholomew church, Cloth is taking over a double fronted corner site that’s beneath the former home of poet John Betjeman and next door to the two oldest residential buildings in London. Inside, low ceilings, wood floorboards with antique wall lights and artwork create a cosy, intimate atmosphere, while marble tables, long dark wood banquettes, antique crockery and cutlery will create the feel of a classic bistro.

Le Cafe du Marche es un restaurante francés en el corazón de Smithfield, si bien en realidad se trate de tres restaurantes El restaurante está ubicado al fondo de una callejuela empedrada, a aproximadamente 35 metros de Charterhouse Square y Charterhouse Street. El Café está abierto para el almuerzo de lunes a viernes (de 24:00 a 14:30) y para la cena de lunes a sábado (de 18:00 a 22:00). El Café es el restaurante principal ubicado en la planta baja y sirve mayoritariamente cocina francesa de provincia. En la planta alta también se encuentra el restaurante Le Grenier, similar al anterior pero con un menú que hace más hincapié en platillos a la parrilla. La brasserie Le Rendezvous se encuentra a la vuelta de la esquina sobre Charterhouse Street. El restaurante existe desde hace 25 años pero se recomienda a quienes aún no lo conocen que lo visiten pronto.

In August 2014 we opened the doors to our shop and bar in the Victorian arches beneath the Holborn Viaduct. There is history here, the site having served as a wine cellar for over 150 years, most recently as Oddbin’s fine wine store.During the day the vaults serve as our office, warehouse and tasting room, as well as shop where the general public can buy our wines. At night it becomes a beautiful, atmospheric, candle-lit wine bar.In the bar we charge £14 corkage on the retail price, except between 12 and 4pm where no corkage is charged. Our list is ever changing, not only showing wines that we import ourselves but also wines that we have tasted and are passionate for, supplied from fellow importers. We also offer a small amount of old Bordeaux, Burgundy, Port and Madeira from our private cellars.
