Whether you are up for a curated culinary experience with our 4 & 7 Course tasting menus (Fri & Sat evenings), or prefer to choose your own adventure with our 3-course Table D’hote menu (Wed & Thurs evenings), or are in search of an upscale lunch à la carte menu (Thur - Sat); we have you covered! Our menus are composed entirely to showcase the best local products in Lanark County & the Ottawa Valley and are tailored monthly to best celebrate the tastes of the season.     It's impossible to choose your meal at Joey - everything is amazing. I struggle to go with my favourites or go with something new on the menu. Service as always is impeccable. Ambiance is first rate!

    Excellent service. Food tasted great and delicious. We had the loaded nachos with spicy beef and our server Anick recommended half portion for 2 of us and still we couldn't finish it. We had the Chipotle mango chicken - wow! Really flavourful! Also the chicken and rib combo was good. We would highly recommend this location:)

    The dining experience at Black Tartan Kitchen is simply exceptional. From the food (amazing), the presentation, wine pairings, service, and ambiance, all aspects of this restaurant are outstanding. Chef Ian takes the time to describe each course and almost everything is locally sourced so you are supporting businesses and families in the community. Ian also takes the time to visit each table to ask about your dining experience. The Black Tartan is Carleton Place’s hidden gem, and we absolutely love dining there. This is a must if you appreciate great food and fine dining at its best!!
