Originally born in the Canary Island of Lanzarote (where the family originally came from) their daughter and both sons decided to join their family venture and follow in the footsteps of their parents and grandparents. We enjoyed an excellent lunch of cottage pie and Doddington burger. Both dishes were accompanied by generous portions of kitchen garden vegetables/salad and were delicious. Glasses of Sangiovese were a very good match for the food. Too full to have a dessert, we opted for a coffee and mince pie. It is well worth reserving a table in the restaurant. Although there is inevitably some noise from the cafe below, this was not intrusive. Views of the lake and beyond to open countryside provide a very pleasant backdrop to any meal. Service was both friendly and efficient.

Food was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive. The homemade caramel vodka was amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. OLÉ!!!
