The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular. Our favourite pub! The food is knockout, the team always so friendly and welcoming. We love the ever interesting calendar of events too Worth the 50 minute drive from home! Wish we were closer to you

When visiting the White Horse it is always welcoming and you immediately feel at home. A roaring fire and lovely staff. We both had a large plate and a pudding and the food was excellent. We had a seafood pie and a beef and ale pie which was a special. The tastes were out of this world. For puddings we had a croissant and butter pudding with ice cream and a crème brûlée. Again they were so different to normal fayre and a real pleasure. The combination of lovely ambience and special food was a lovely experience.
