I'm inspired by the traditional approach my Nona took to cooking in our kitchen growing up.​Simple dishes, the absolute best ingredients available, and a lot of love.     The service was excellent, the food was lukewarm, the music was too loud, but all in all it was an enjoyable meal but for a hungry man there wasn't enough. It would be nice to have a meal served with a salad and bread in the price included rather than to have to order separate bread and separate salad which could be accomplished by raising the price of the meal to accommodate this need. It is very elegant food, elegantly presented.

    We have been going to Shoji's for birthdays for 10 years. We usually go about 3 times a year. The most recent last 2 times we went the service just hasn't been the same. Smaller portion sizes, and the chef isn't as interactive. Food tastes different too... Great experience.. just it's changed. There was so much extra food and usually the chef gives everybody more, but this time he just put it in a box on the table and said one of the families gets to take it home.
