The Club Tavern and Grill was originally The Grantree Restaurant when three men from Conrad, Montana purchased it in 1985. The Felska’s and the Solvie’s came to Bozeman motivated by the prospect of building or buying a Conference Center.They discovered that the Ramada Inn, (hotel, restaurant, and conference center) was in bankruptcy so they purchased the business. Once a dark 70’s style bar and casual dining restaurant, it also featured a fine dining area.In 1999, The Grantree Restaurant was revised and remodeled to give it a more casual Montana feel.In 2008, the Partners decided to change the name and again do a remodel with more of an upscale sport’s bar style hence creating what today is The Club Tavern and Grill, Bozeman’s Upscale Sport’s Bar with 20 TVs, a Casino, Full Bar, and Sports packages. Beautiful dining room at Sage Lodge. Booked a table for the thanksgiving dinner. Very disappointed they ran out if stuffing at 6:45. My plate was mostly Brussels sprouts and dark meat. Meh. Butternut Squash soup was sublime. Dessert which was to be an apple galette was just a pepperidge farm style puff pastry shell with a small amount of apple and ice cream. My husband said his pumpkin cheesecake was simple tasting. Too mild. We’ll go back but for the price, it was a miss.

We always have a great time at Brigade. The food is consistently good, and Carissa is a cheerful, wonderful server. We’ll be back in a few weeks!
