Authentic Persian CuisineOne of the world’s most ancient and refined styles of cooking is the traditional home cooking of Iran. Every detail of the restaurant is all handpicked by the family to represent it’s name, Colbeh (کلبه), which means ‘cottage’ in the Persian language of Farsi. From the kahgel spread walls to the intricately detailed embroidery on the handmade decorations, even down to each of the individual dishes to represent different regions of the country. The family run business strives to bring the perfection of traditional homemade recipes of Iran. Exploding with the main distinctive flavours of Saffron, Tumeric and Parsley, to our guests in the comfort and warmth of a complete replica of a classic Persian cottage.

Look for the beautiful lady at the front, she did very well in getting us a table and was proactive in getting my girlfriend a cake. A big thank you to Adriano, who was super helpful and helped us made decisions on food to eat. Food and drinks were good. 5 star treatment.

Me and my partner visited this lovely small restaurant found on hagley road. We ordered fresh apple juice , although for the price one glass came full and the other was just over half the glass so it wasn’t full I would recommend you making sure drinks are topped up properly. We ordered the platter for two and the meat selection was good , the rice portion however was on the small side imo. For two people and the amount of meat we could do with more rice and bread. But overall I would return and order my own dish to try , staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant was nice. 😊
