Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     As always the food was amazing. Only constructive criticism is that the Panna Cotta has changed to strawberry Flavour on a Prosecco jelly base, the original version is much nicer. This doesn’t mean it was bad, it was just disappointing. However, overall the food was delicious.

    Food - service - seating and surroundings excellent. Toilet facilities spotlessly clean with a very nice smell. Overall 5 star.

    Ivy Asia is my favourite place to dine out. Prior to this visit, I had only visited on a weekday lunchtime (which was always amazing) but wanted to experience the buzz of a Saturday evening. I wasn’t disappointed, it was amazing as usual. The people who work at Ivy Asia do so brilliantly, they are fabulous and I can’t wait for my next visit.

    2nd time we have been for lunch and it was exceptional each time. Definitely our kind of dining, everything about ‘Eight’ is superb. The food is fresh, tasteful and so very well presented. There definitely will be more than a 3rd visit for us! Added bonus is looking at the beautiful animals

    A limited menu, no specials board and only one vegetarian choice - risotto with pearl barley which was scrumptious and worth the wait. Friendly and helpful staff.
