Riccardo and Marybeth welcome you to their 3rd property, Maribella Ristorante. Opening R Wine Bar & Kitchen in 2018, and Vespa Catering and Brix Wine Bar in 2022, they have created a culture of hospitality for guests who feel like family. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Together with their hand-picked team, Riccardo and Marybeth bring the best parts of hospitality to life in their restaurants, for both their staff and guests. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in Boston, MA. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, ventured to the east coast as a nanny and then nursing school in Somerville, MA. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard island. Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018. As owners of R Wine Bar, Riccardo and Marybeth are passionate about one thing: people. They believe that people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. With a curated wine list, local craft beer on tap, and beautifully executed menu, Riccardo and Marybeth are thrilled to bring R Wine Bar & Kitchen to the East Bank of Downtown Sioux Falls along with their General Manager, Jane Allen, Assistant Manager Bailey Bernal, Sous Chef Caleb Carr, Sous Chef Esteban Gonzalez, and Culinary Director Adam Schumacher.

El restaurante recomienda a los clientes fijarse en su homónimo al cruzar el umbral, donde aún sigue el logotipo original de Crawford de 1963. La decoración integra sin miedo elementos masculinos y femeninos: el Salvaje Oeste se une con el concepto romaní... desde el bar panelado de piel, la barra de cuarcita del bar, los reposapiés elaborados con vías de tren de hierro y las mesas de madera recuperada hasta azulejos vintage. papel tapiz adornado con piedras preciosas, candelabros marroquíes y columnas indias antiguas... ningún detalle queda al azar. Lo mismo se aplica a la comida: desde filetes de res de primera calidad hasta salmón salvaje, todos los elementos se cuidan con esmero. My 2 daughters and I decided for first time to get together …away from all the kids and husbands for some bonding time. We wanted exciting new food, classy yet casual atmosphere and 22Ten Kitchen delivered! The food was brilliant, and the peaceful, serene, comfy aura was what we were looking for. The service was perfect too….. Nicole, our server, didn’t rush us and touched base just enough, that our busy conversation nerve felt interrupted. Thanks to all the staff there for helping make our time there, the best way to ring in the new year!!! Cheers!!

I used to work at R wine bar and right before I moved to MSP Maribella opened. I have been wanting to dine here and finally the opportunity arose with some dear Sioux Falls friends. To say the least Ricardo and his family have brought a piece of Italy to the corner of downtown Sioux Falls. The lemon pasta is exactly what I remember eating after a shift at R wine bar in 2018! The only critique I have is there should be a sign on the door for the bathrooms haha!
