Lovely setting, nicely done for Christmas. Lots of choice on the main menu, several specials and desserts to choose from. The staff are friendly and the right amount of attentiveness. Usual price for mains, desserts more pricey but worth it as they're delicious.

We had a wonderful meal and evening here last night. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We would highly recommend this.

We both chose the set menu. 3 courses with good options was excellent value for money. The prawn cocktail was particularly good. The highlight was the sticky toffee dessert which I can honestly say is the best I have ever had. Choices for the main course were not overly exciting but beautifully presented. I opted for the haddock served in a cheese sauce which I enjoyed. The service was excellent, friendly but non intrusive. The dining room was full yet we were served promptly and made to feel welcome. The dining room itself is a special treat overlooking the lake.

Amazing food, drinks, and incredibly friendly waiters and bar staff always being polite and welcoming. We had a lovely meal and would definitely go back
