Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield.     We had a wonderful dinner at Selden Standard. Ahsley our waitress was very attentive as were the servers who brought out each dish. Explaining what each one was and confirming that there was none of the allergy items I had mention. The food was delicious and I loved the small plates so that we could try everything. Will definitley be back.

    Everything cooked perfect. We all had ribeye or ribeye cap. Shrimp cocktail was good, big shrimp. Ordered mashed potatoes, corn, carrots, and Mac and cheese for sides. Carrots were my favorite. Drinks were awesome. Smoked old fashioned was outstanding. My only complaint was 1 steak out of 4 was served about 10 minter we were served. Manager apologized and took it off bill. Wasn’t expecting that but what a way to make up for it. Thanks Sexy Steak for a lovely Christmas Eve. dinner.

    I took a close friend there for her birthday and it was both of our first time being there. We both enjoyed our food a whole lot and we had mimosa flights with the flavors of lavender, mango, and blueberry and they were REALLY good. Highly recommended place and we’ll definitely be returning. Thanks for the great experience and delicious food!
