Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. Local artwork hangs throughout the Tavern’s many rooms and a mural adorns a main wall, a nod to the eclectic and vibrant artistic community of Old Ellicott City. WE ARE FAMOUS FOR OUR WET AND DRY-AGED STEAKS THAT ARE HAND-CUT BY OUR IN HOUSE PROFESSIONAL BUTCHERS.Our steaks are wet aged on average 45 to 70 days, cut and then dry-aged for another 5 to 7 days. This extensive aging process is what separates us from our competition. We have been described as serving a “Ruth’s Chris” steak at an “Outback” price. In addition to our signature steaks, we serve baby back ribs, fresh salads, chicken, seafood, fajitas, and we even have two pasta dishes. Prices range on entrees from $9.99 to $29.00 for our 22 oz. T-bone steak. We make our dishes from scratch using the best ingredients. It’s the little details that keep the guests returning, from grilling a lemon to be squeezed on a fresh grilled fish, to making our brownies for our signature dessert, the Brownie Sundae.

The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house.     We always eat out on Christmas Eve after the week of getting ready. We wanted to try a new place and Manor Hill looked like a good option. Our server, food and setting were great but it was a bit slow; likely due the holiday rush. We weren't in a hurry but the hard chairs were a bit much after awhile, especially for my 87 yr old mom. Everyone enjoyed their dinners and that's the most important part.

    Fun girls’ holiday night out. 1/2 price wine on Monday! We shared salads and apps and everything was great. Paul was an excellent server. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Only downside - don’t sit at the window table when it is 20 degrees outside. 🥶❄️ That being said, it didn’t ruin our evening!

    From the greeting at the door to our coats being retrieved for us at the end of the meal we enjoyed every minute of our dining experience. All courses were outstanding and the service was impeccable. We definitely will dine here again... outstanding in every way.

    The food and drinks were amazing 10/10❤️ we celebrated my big brothers 50th birthday and they provided a free dessert as well. Can’t wait to go back.
